This is by far the best battery tender I have owned, including snap on, and all the others I have used. I do not have an Optima battery in my ATV but it doesn't matter. I forgot to disconnect it for the winter.

NCO graciously replaced it since it was only 3 months old. If it recovers battery 3 it has paid for itself and some. I keep them topped off with these chargers. Thanks Optima for a fantastic product update still working well and maintaining ATV battery.

Since then I have recharged it to 100 and am keeping the charger connected to maintain my battery. I would like to buy the 1200 model but it seems to be the opposite of this little guy but with such a small sample size, me and 4 other people, the jury may still be out. I had two dead Optima batteries that I tried to bring back with no success, I put this charger on, and the next day the battery was like new. And even a place for you to wrap the cords around the unit for storage.

The NCO would quickly flash all the lights and the Creek would think about it and then go into problem mode. So flat that neither the Creek nor the NCO would recognize it or start charging. I put three vehicles into outdoor storage for the winter.

Will follow up with further information as used on the rest of my batteries not getting out on my ATV as much as before so nice to have it fire right up when I need it. I did a trickle charge on the old battery and a power surge interruption killed the NCO g3500 charger.

Sure enough. I've been impressed with it so far, i've got and use 7 agm batteries. And because it recovers discharged batteries that others cannot, this is the maintainer that is a must have in your garage. I have had a lot of other chargers and some have given me untold grief, these on the other hand to a great job.

I read that I should check the battery anyway so I bought this charger and sure enough my battery was very low at about I also own a Creek a NCO genius g3500 battery chargers both of which I also like a lot. 2nd Optima deep cycle recharged and reconditioned from 50 in 3.

I have 3 battery chargers that would not charge any agm batteries to full capacity, and defaulted on red top as dead. And lots of other stuff that you don't have to get out the manual to understand. Started reconditioning and recharging. This one is better.

Started the car and it fired right up. The Creek has a setting for Optima batteries, but that made no difference.

It read 100% charge the next day.

Now regret turning in older Optima battery as a core as it tested as bad.

The solenoid would activate but no start. I have a classic car that I installed a brand new Optima red top battery in last fall. First night connected to brand new agm battery it tested at 75 recharged and reconditioned in 4 hours.

This charger has a nice form factor, allows me to choose auto marine, motorcycle power sport battery, or Optima batteries and has an LCD panel that displays and gives me all the information I need. For geeks great ii design. I was going nuts trying to figure it out thinking that if the solenoid activated it couldn't be the battery.

So I bought this charger thinking that Optima probably knew how to best charge their batteries. I put in on the battery for 24 hrs.
