2nd Optima deep cycle recharged and reconditioned from 50 in This is by far the best battery tender I have owned, including snap on, and all the others I have used. The solenoid would activate but no start. Started the car and it fired right up.

I do not have an Optima battery in my ATV but it doesn't matter the Creek has a setting for Optima batteries, but that made no difference. I keep them topped off with these chargers.

And because it recovers discharged batteries that others cannot, this is the maintainer that is a must have in your garage. If it recovers battery 3 it has paid for itself and some.

The wall mount has a place where you can clip on the clamps. It will charge batteries other chargers won't. Since then I have recharged it to 100 and am keeping the charger connected to maintain my battery.

This charger has a nice form factor, allows me to choose auto marine, motorcycle power sport battery, or Optima batteries and has an Lcd panel that displays and gives me all the information I need. I put three vehicles into outdoor storage for the winter for geeks great ii design. I had two dead Optima batteries that I tried to bring back with no success, I put this charger on, and the next day the battery was like new and lots of other stuff that you don't have to get out the manual to understand.

It also offers a hybrid led battery charging gauge with Lcd screen and a quick set battery type selection for easy operation. I also use them to charge my Optima batteries that I use to operate electronic equipment for my consulting engineering business.

I also own a Creek a NCO genius g3500 battery chargers both of which I also like a lot. It has idiot proof connections for the cords. It keeps you apprised of what it is doing.

NCO graciously replaced it since it was only 3 months old. So flat that neither the Creek nor the NCO would recognize it or start charging. I forgot to disconnect it for the winter. By opposite lock verified purchase this is one of the most intelligently designed products i've ever used. Not getting out on my ATV as much as before so nice to have it fire right up when I need it. First night connected to brand new agm battery it tested at 75 recharged and reconditioned in 4 hours.

I did a trickle charge on the old battery and a power surge interruption killed the NCO g3500 charger. Will tell you if your connection to the battery is bad and even a place for you to wrap the cords around the unit for storage. Anyway, the Optima was completely discharged last week.
